This is a GST Inclusive
Sale. The knock down price shall include GST and an 11% GST
Inclusive Buyers’ Premium will be charged on top of the
purchase price. The GST amount shall be noted on the purchasers
Tax Invoice. The $100 Registration fee will be deducted from
the total purchase amount. If no purchases are made the $100
Registration fee is fully refundable.
OCCUPATIONAL
HEALTH & SAFETY ACT
The Occupational Health
& Safety Act 1985 and Regulations, impose obligations in
respect of safety for workers arising out of the DESIGN,
MANUFACTURE AND SUPPLY of plant for use in the workplace.
The auctioneer warns buyers THAT
NO PLANT OR EQUIPMENT OFFERED FOR SALE AT THIS AUCTION IS FIT
FOR USE IN THE WORKPLACE AND IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE
BUYER to ensure that it is brought to a standard necessary
to comply with the Occupational Health & Safety Act 1985.
Buyers are warned that breaches
of the Act, incur very large penalties. In the interest of the
health and safety for workers, safety inspections of plant and
equipment purchased at auction are recommended to be performed
by authorized people or companies.

BALANCE BY CASH OR CERTIFIED BANK CHEQUE. COMPANY CHEQUE ACCEPTED
ONLY IF ACCOMPANIED BY A BANKER REFERENCE.
CONDITIONS
OF SALE
- All bidders
to register prior to Auction.
- No bids accepted without Bidding
Card.
- The highest bidder shall be the Buyer.
In the event of any dispute, the Buyer shall be determined
by the Auctioneer, in such a matter as he thinks fit.
- The Vendor may bid personally through
the Auctioneer or an Agent, and may withdraw any lot or lots
personally or through the Auctioneer.
- All lots are sold as they are, a
sale shall not be invalidated by reason of any defect or damages
to any lot. The auctioneer nor the vendor shall not be responsible
for incorrect descriptions, quantities etc on any lot.
- All Buyers or members of the public
enter the Auction rooms or Vendors premises at own their risk.
Buyers and members of the public are warned of any possibility
of dangerous machinery, chemicals etc., being present in Auction
rooms or Vendors premises. People may not be familiar with
the surroundings, so please be careful.
- Should machinery or plant and equipment
still be connected to any utilities i.e. gas, electricity,
water, steam or air or any similar connections, they must
be disconnected by a qualified tradesperson relating to that
disconnection under the supervision a representative of Essendon
Airport Auctions, or an authorized representative.
- An 11% GST Inclusive buyer’s
premium shall be added to the knock down price to the buyer
for items purchased (See Front of Catalogue).
- The knock down price together with
the buyer’s premium shall be totalled and the sum amount
shall be inclusive of GST, and the GST amount shall be noted
on the purchasers Tax Invoice.
- The Buyer is liable to answer for
any damage to property or injury to persons incurred during
the removal of a lot or lots purchased, including damage or
injury caused by their agents.
- All Goods to be removed and paid
for within 2 (two) working days following the completion of
the Sale.
- Every Buyer shall supply their name
and address in writing and pay such deposit as the Auctioneer
or his clerk may require. Payment in full is to be made before
the removal or delivery within the time specified by the Auctioneer
at the Sale.
- Upon failure to comply with the above
terms, any money paid shall be forfeited to the owner of the
lot, and he/she paying therefore all expenses and the lot
shall be resold by public or private sale and any deficiency
(if any) arising upon resale together with the expenses shall
be made good by the defaulter.
- Time is the essence - time shall
be the essence of the sale of any lot.
- I acknowledge understand and sign that I am of sound mind
to bid at this auction.
