Job Description:

Eaauctions.com.au is looking for staff with proven expertise in real-estate, construction, engineering and mining.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop working relationships with new buyers and sellers.
  • Interaction with clients to increase branding and sales revenue.
  • Identify equipment to sell in traditional, on site and online auctions.
  • Input and loading of assets into computer administration system
  • Assist in negotiations process with buyers and sellers.
  • Assisting Buyers and Sellers in the transportation of equipment

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-10 years experience in the real-estate, engineering, heavy equipment or construction industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organization skills.
  • Must be persistent, self-motivated and willing to travel.
  • Computer skills required using the web and training in our internal administration.
  • Auction and Valuation or similar experience will be well regarded.

Position Available Software developers assistant

Location Melbourne Australia

Job Description:

As a member of software development team, the software engineer will participate in designing and implementing the admin and public functionality for our Online Auction and Valuation e-commerce system. We are looking for a talented .PHP, Barcode, CMS developers with proven expertise in a broad range of technologies including SEO.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Graphic Art knowledge of Adobe products
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years industry experience in software development

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with Unix/Linux environments and the following:
    • .php, Barcode Software, SEO
    • Java, EJB 3 (or Hibernate), SQL (Oracle)
    • Ruby on Rails
    • Resin or another J2EE server
    • HTML, CSS and JavaScript (AJAX experience a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to handle significant design and coding responsibilities
  • Must be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency.

Physical Requirements:

  • Computer work
  • Flexible hours in-house full time and contract basis.
